Why We Started Liv

My sister Olivia (Liv) LOVES her day programs. She is a very social person and if you have met Olivia then you know she enjoys having conversations with others and meeting new people. Dancing to music, doing yoga and making crafts are Olivia's favourite parts of her day. However, Olivia is not a very independent person. She likes to be around other people and have them help her with her activities. It can be extremely stressful trying to accommodate her needs full time. Day programs have allowed Olivia to live a more fulfilling and enriched life while providing our family a much needed break throughout the day.

However, our family has recently moved to the Huntsville area and have quickly realized there are no day programs available for adults with special needs. We understand the importance and positive impact that day programs have had for Olivia and our family. That is why we have decided to open LivDayProgram.
